This is the type of charging you'll primarily use when you're at a public charging station, and you should be able to add about 100 miles of range in just ten minutes. For at-home charging, you'll be able to fully recharge the battery overnight, making the Silverado EV an excellent option for everyday use and long road trips alike.

Electric vehicles once had a bad reputation for not being as powerful as gasoline-powered ones, but this is no longer the case. The Silverado EV will be able to tow and haul plenty, despite being run entirely on electricity. You can expect a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 lbs, with the base model achieving around 8,000 lbs. Chevy also plans to launch another model with a 20,000-lb capacity later in the year. As for payload, you should have no trouble hauling up to 1,300 lbs in the truck bed.
